I O.K. KIDS ACADEMY

Who We Are
I O.K. Kids Academy provides innovative movement programmes for children aged 3–14, designed to help every child develop confidence, coordination, and a love of being active.
Through a unique blend of gymnastics, ninja challenges, parkour, trampolines, obstacle courses, and creative games, we create an environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help shape the future of children's sports education.
We aim to create positive movement programmes where children feel safe to explore, encouraged to grow, and empowered to build confidence without pressure, comparison, or fear of failure.
As I O.K. Kids Academy continues to grow, we hope to bring our unique philosophy and approach to more schools across Germany, throughout Europe, and eventually to children around the world.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help children develop confidence, strength, resilience, healthy habits, and a lifelong love of movement through play, adventure, and positive experiences.
We believe every child deserves the opportunity to feel confident, capable, valued, and included, regardless of their age, gender, background, or experience level.
Every child has the potential to grow and succeed when they feel supported, encouraged, and respected. That is why we create an environment where children feel safe to try new things, brave enough to make mistakes, and confident enough to keep going when challenges arise.
At I O.K. Kids Academy, we celebrate progress over perfection and help children discover what they are truly capable of achieving—one step, one challenge, and one success at a time.
What Makes Us Different
We are more than a sports academy.
We use movement as a tool to help children develop confidence, resilience, self-belief, and essential life skills that will support them both inside and outside the gym.
Our goal is not simply to teach children how to jump, climb, balance, or tumble. Our goal is to help them believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and develop the confidence to achieve their full potential.
OUR APPROACH

Every child develops differently.
That’s why our programmes focus on encouragement, progress, and individual growth rather than pressure or comparison.
Our classes are designed to:
-
build confidence through movement
-
improve coordination and body awareness
-
encourage creativity and problem-solving
-
develop teamwork and communication
-
help children enjoy physical activity
THE I O.K. PHILOSOPHY

The name I O.K. itself represents our philosophy
I — I choose to try
O — Only need my determination
K — Keep improving every day
This mindset is at the heart of everything we do.

At I O.K. Kids Academy, we train while having fun — no pressure, no comparisons — just progress, positivity, and play.

THE I O.K. SIGN

The Meaning Behind the I O.K. Sign
At I O.K. Kids Academy, the I O.K. hand sign is much more than a gesture—it is a symbol of confidence, focus, calmness, and self-belief.
Before attempting a new challenge, obstacle course, or gymnastics skill, children use the I O.K. sign as a simple reminder:
-
I can do this
-
I believe in myself
-
I stay calm and focused
-
I keep trying
This small action is an important part of our philosophy and approach to learning through movement. It encourages children to pause, breathe, regulate their emotions, and approach challenges with courage rather than fear.
The I O.K. sign teaches children that progress does not come from pressure, comparison, or perfection. It comes from confidence, determination, and believing in themselves—one step at a time.

A Tool for Focus and Confidence
Before learning a new skill or technique, children are encouraged to make the I O.K. sign, take a breath, and reset their thoughts. This simple routine helps reduce anxiety, improve concentration, and build confidence.
The idea was inspired by my study of ancient mindfulness and meditation practices. While many traditional methods can be highly effective for adults, they are often too abstract for young children to understand. The I O.K. sign transforms the same calming principles into something visual, playful, and child-friendly.
For children, the sign becomes:
-
A mental reset
-
A confidence trigger
-
A reminder to stay calm
-
A tool for focus before action
-
A symbol of self-belief
Over time, children begin to associate the gesture with positive emotions, courage, concentration, and resilience. It helps them learn how to manage their emotions, stay present in the moment, and trust themselves when facing challenges.
The I O.K. sign is not only about gymnastics or movement. It is about helping children develop emotional strength, resilience, self-confidence, and a positive mindset that supports them in every area of life.
It is not just a sign.
It is a mindset.
Meet The Founder

Margarita Teixeira

Founder & Head Coach of I O.K. Kids Academy

I O.K. Kids Academy was created from a lifelong belief in the power of movement to transform lives.

Founder and Head Coach Margarita Teixeira is an experienced fitness coach and mother of twins whose passion for movement and child development inspired the creation of the academy.

Throughout her life, sport has played a central role in helping her build resilience, discipline, and mental strength. Even during periods of injury, academic pressure, and demanding life challenges, she remained committed to physical activity, recognising its powerful impact on both physical and emotional wellbeing.
While completing her MBA, Margarita continued training daily, using movement as a way to maintain focus, balance, and determination during an intensive period of study and personal growth.

Her belief in the importance of movement became even stronger when she became a mother. During pregnancy, she maintained an active lifestyle and prioritised healthy nutrition. After her twins were born, she began creating fun, age-appropriate movement activities to support their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

What started as simple games and exercises at home gradually evolved into a structured programme designed to help children grow through movement, play, and positive experiences. These early activities eventually became the foundation of what is now I O.K. Kids Academy.
Watching her children develop into confident, independent, and well-rounded young people reinforced her belief in the long-term benefits of movement and healthy habits. Today, her twins are thriving academically, actively involved in leadership roles at school, hold black belts in Taekwondo, and regularly perform violin and piano in public concerts.

This personal journey shaped the philosophy behind I O.K. Kids Academy: movement is about much more than physical fitness. It is a powerful tool for developing confidence, resilience, self-discipline, focus, leadership, emotional wellbeing, and a positive mindset.
Today, Margarita teaches more than 150 children every week through school partnerships and academy programmes across Munich. Her mission is to help every child discover their potential, develop self-belief, and build the confidence to face challenges both inside and outside the gym.

At the heart of I O.K. Kids Academy is a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to become the strongest, happiest, and most confident version of themselves.
